Jack Casady Speaks!

To Blues Revue magazine -- about knowing, working and playing with Jimi Hendrix. A candid in-depth interview about the making of the song, ‘Voodoo Chile’ on Jimi’s seminal album, ‘Electric Ladyland.’

There are cameos with Steve Winwood, Mitch Mitchell, William Robert Casady (Jack’s dad) Owsley, Jorma, the Airplane, and of course, Tuna.

Here’s an excerpt:

“When we got into the playing atmosphere -- sitting across from him -- everybody looked each other in the eye and played music -- and it was a ball! It really had the raw, first-time feel to it -- because it really was.

The interview appears in an all-Jimi Sept/Oct issue of Blues Revue issue, #125, due in a few weeks. The complete interview will debut at the Blues Revue website, http://bluesrevue.com/.
